From December 2010-February 2011, MOCK Studio worked pro bono with Kansas City, Missouri’s 4th Council District to develop a methodology for awarding Public Investment Advisory Committee (PIAC) grants. Working with staff and elected officials, MOCK Studio developed a system to rank projects based on a myriad of factors. By formatting the base data and extrapolating the values given by the decision makers, MOCK Studio identified trends in the data, thereby streamlining the overall process of recommending grant applications with multiple benefits.
